Musical, Mesmerizing and Memorable!

My Symphonic Hall musicians are special group of people devoted to bringing music into the communities, your family big events and unforgettable wedding functions! Many of these musicians are mentored by the same music mentor who has been coaching these special students (special need with autism, ADHD or people with some form of disability) for several years!

Samuel Kwan - Founder

Producer and artistic director of My Symphonic Hall, founded the company in the early 2013, is not one unfamiliar name in the music industry.

He has participated with numerous orchestras and performances since the early 90s in Singapore and overseas, he also collaborated with many local production projects such as Boku Films, Raintree Productions, Mediacorp Suria Channel, Orkestra Melayu Singapura, Yamaha Music String Ensemble, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Orchestra, People's Association and O School to name a few.

 

Other projects in the overseas including the participation in the 3rd Asia-Pacific Music Festival 2011 with the Krasnoyarsk Symphony Orchestra (Russia Federation), Seoul Pop Orchestra and Korea Symphony Orchestra 2012 and 2014 (South Korea). In 2015 he led a team of twenty-five musicians from the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra to Milan Italy for the Festival Notturni in con-junction with Milan Expo 2015, held in Palazzina Liberty.

 

In the Far East he also received an invitation to Japan Kagoshima, under the People’s Association he led a similar string ensemble to a cultural exchange together with local veterans like violinist Yew Shan and late maestro Adrian Tan for the Kagoshima Cultural Festival in October 2017. Also in Japan, he regularly participated in JAO {Japan Amateur Orchestra National Music Festival) which is held annually in different cities including the main capital Tokyo in 2020.

 

In 2015, a concert entitled “Joy” featuring the community orchestra and choir performing a renown work in the classical music world; Beethoven 9th Symphony! A documentary was co-produced showcasing this unique short film about Singapore and the community arts at large. It was aired aired in December with collaboration local Mediacorp TV station OKTO Channel.

Apart from his music aspiration, he also established special collaboration with many charitable organization such as ART:DIS Singapore (formerly known as Very Special Arts Singapore), Art It Forward and several Community Clubs since then. He is also currently serving also as a CCMC member in the Braddell Heights Constituency within the Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC supporting the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra (Singapore's oldest and biggest community orchestra in People's Association) and the Junior Orchestra.

Since 2016, Kwan has made his focused travelling in the Asian region including China, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand. Some of his projects includes serving alongside with the music team from the IFPWT (Intercessors for the Philippines Worship Team), and SOP (Stream of Praise), a mentor and teacher to special needs children and youth teaching music and the love for the Christian Bible.

Kwan's mission statement:

Harry Ling - Visual Artist and Violinist

Harry (IG: "Harryling58") is a fun loving 18-year-old youth with Autism and currently studying in Pathlight school. He started learning the violin under teacher Samuel Kwan when he was 14 years old. In 2024 he passed his ABRSM Violin Grade 2 with merit and now learning grade 3. Despite having difficulties in his verbal communication from young, he is always eager to share his passion and love for music and art.

 

With strong support from the family, school and community, Harry has been given many opportunities to showcase his passion in music. He is a violinist for The Purple Symphony and Extra-ordinary Light Orchestra, choir singer for Beautiful Minds Music Academy and Voices of Singapore, and Percussionist for Pathlight School Music Ensemble. In addition, he had also performed in several places including recitals at many Community Clubs, Singapore Bible College and Art:Dis Studio. During his free time, he loves to play the guitar and draws as well.

Noemie Lee - Violinist and Pianist

Noemie has been actively playing the violin since the age of 8 and in April 2025 she passed her ABRSM Violin Grade 4 with Distinction.

 

Finalist in the music category (violin) of Pasir Ris Got Talent 2022. Currently studying at Metta School under the Mild Intellectual Disability program. She is actively involved in Scouts and serves as a student councilor. Also learning piano alongside the violin under Mr. Samuel Kwan and had performed in several places including recitals at Singapore Bible College, Art:Dis Studio and Metta School major events.

Vicki Tan - Visual Artist and Violinist

Vicki has been developing her artistic interests in ceramics, painting and violin. She sometimes calls herself 'The Wheelchair Artist' (IG: "Wheelchairartist").

 

She has been most recently creating expressive abstract art paintings and ceramics that is emblematic of her love for vibrant colours and the expressive arts. Many of her artworks has been featured in Enabling Village from time to time, in Art:Dis Studios, in Singapore Bible College and in some private corporations as well! Her favourite colour is blue!
